  Nice Thai place on 124th Street. Food is always high quality and servers are very polite. Prices are average 15-20$ per dish.

  We've been searching for a good Thai restaurant in Edmonton since we left the Bay Area (California). Even though we tried all the ones our friends recommended (Syphay, Bua Thai, Viphalay, Boualouang, King and I), Numchok Wilai is the best. The seafood soup was really flavourful, not just spicy. The mango salad was delicious, reminded me of how a Thai friend use to make it. The curry and pad tai were also really good. I usually use the pad tai as my benchmark at every Thai restaurant. All the other restaurants make it too sweet and saucy, which may appeal to some folks, but is not really authentic. This place makes it with tamarind flavour...as it should be. So if you like The pad tai at the other restaurants I listed above, you may not like this place, but this is the real deal.

  With out fail, this place always gets my order wrong. The owner then proceeded to tell me I was wrong. To much trouble for average thai good.
