  There was no prior indication I was taken care of or was even there for take-out. Why was the manager under this assumption? I was waiting directly in front of the podium and the other party. I would have moved aside if I had been helped.
  
  I worked in a restaurant during my years in school. If a customer was waiting at the front desk, I would ensure he or she was taken care of by asking if they had been helped yet. Second, I would always address customers on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  
  This raises the question of preferential treatment. I am not expecting an apology based off of your response. You should understand that your actions can have this impression on your customers.

  Reliably great food, with excellent specials and seasonal menus (mushroom fest and garlic fest are my favourites!). Great food, great service, great wine menu. If you have the opportunity - on a beautiful summer evening - don't miss the gorgeous patio. Sitting at the "pizza bar" is always a treat too. Recent menu addition of slow roasted short rib ravioli with brown butter, sage etc is amazing, as are many other menu items. Don't miss the caprese salad!

  Had an amazing experience. Our waitress Chanelle was wonderful and the food and atmosphere was incredible. We even had the owner come over to make sure our meal was going well. The goat cheese on the grilled vegetable salad was literally the best I've ever had. I'm used to goat cheese tasting like goat, not like a creamy piquant piece of heaven. The smells in there were divine. It was really nice to see that so many people seemed to be regulars that the staff knew; made it feel like a real neighbourhood gem. My husband and I will assuredly be back.

  We love coming here for a "date night" dinner. Our favourites are the little bites, risotto balls and the cannelloni (ask for half cream sauce/half marinara sauce). But we have loved everything! The restaurant is so intimate and the atmosphere is perfect for a couple relaxing with a great bottle of wine. Service is always great with the Maitre D's being exceptionally attentive.
