  It was our first time to Grain of Rice and they made us feel at home. They took the time to go through the menu, specials, and ingredients to make sure we made the right choice. Freshly squeezed lemonade and fresh ingredients were a nice change to typical restaurants. After eating they asked us how our experience was and if they could've done anything to make it better. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

  Excellent fresh food. I live downtown and will gladly drive out of my way to eat here again. Price is very reasonable for what you get, once you take into account the no tipping plus the extremely high quality of the food, and portion size its leaps and bounds ahead of competing restaurants. I would gladly pay more for the food if you had a location downtown.
  
  Only criticism I have was we felt a little rushed to hurry up and eat. Google says you close at 9 on Sundays and we were there around 7. People after us were being turned away at the door because apparently after 7 is take out only? Staff even started stacking the table chairs around us. Food was super fast but we were served all of our apps and mains at the same time. I'm guess that is because they wanted to close the dinning room. Still 5 stars, a must try, and definitely a soon to be regular on my list.

  I was alittle taken aback by the slightly higher prices. But the place had such a great vibe to it I figured I'd check it out. Ordered a vegetarian dish. Quick service and the meal was so flavorful! I'm impressed. Quite a large portion so I think it was worth the price.
  
  I later found out they use local meat for their dishes so I respect the price range.
  
  I'll definitely be back!

  As soon as you enter the place, it has a modern feel and the staff make you feel welcomed. The open concept kitchen is nice as you could watch your meal being prepared. The food is great and considering that the tip is included in the price of the items, I did not find it expensive; however, the one thing I did not like and why I took off one star was the price of the tea. I ordered tea for three people that came in a teapot. When the bill came, we were charged $3 a person for sharing a teapot which in my opinion is overpriced.

  Amazing service and food! Definitely my new go-to when I feel like eating out. Just wish you guys would open a location on the north east side!
